  22. I 'wrote' with Bjarne about a general 'renew' a couple of years ago.  u
  23. Basically the problem is that a general "resize this C array" routine is 
  24. difficult without virtual contructors, and virtual copy constructors 
  25. - otherwise the routine would need static type binding (templates).
